Privacy policy
Thank you for your interest in our house. Below we explain which data we process, for what purpose, and what rights you have.

2. Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by IONOS SE. When you visit, the server automatically records data sent by your browser: IP address, date and time, page requested, volume of data transferred, browser type, operating system and referring page.
This is done to provide and secure the website on the basis of our legitimate interest under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Logs are deleted after 30 days. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the host.
3. Enquiry form
If you contact us through the form, we process the following:
- Required: name, email address, preferred room, move-in date, length of stay and your message about yourself
- Optional: phone number, link to a profile
- technical: language version of the site, date and time of receipt
Purpose: handling your enquiry and assessing whether a tenancy may come about. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR for the optional details.
Retention: enquiries that do not lead to a tenancy are deleted no later than three months after the correspondence ends. Where a tenancy is concluded, statutory retention periods apply.
Recipients: the data is sent by email to our mailbox and stored temporarily on the host's server. It is not passed on to third parties.
4. Cookies and analytics
This website uses no cookies and no analytics or tracking services. No profiling takes place.
5. Fonts and external content
All fonts are served from our own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or other third parties. In the location section you can load a map from OpenStreetMap. It is loaded only when you click; no connection is made before that. On loading, your browser transmits your IP address to the OpenStreetMap Foundation, United Kingdom. Their privacy policy is available at osmfoundation.org. The legal basis is your click as consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). Please write to the address above.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.
7. Changes to this policy
We update this policy whenever the legal situation or our processing changes. The version published here applies.
